AVE Office Supplies: POLICIES

Orders

Orders can be placed until 5 pm, Monday through Friday, for next-business-day delivery by an AVE Sales Assistant. Orders delivered by United Parcel Service or similar service must be placed by 2 p.m. for next-day delivery. No minimum order amount. FREE delivery with any order greater than $50.

To open an account for online billing or credit card purchase, choose from the following options:

  1. Online: Register with AVE and shop online. Use AVE’s online ordering system to input your requests directly in our system. You will have access to more than 25,000 items. To establish an account: info@avesales.com or 800-296-5446.
  2. Email: E-mail orders to: info@avesales.com.
  3. Fax: Orders can be faxed to 248-746-4213. Ask for our faxable ordering forms!
  4. Order Forms: We happily provide customers with general office products order forms and we also design forms specifically for items ordered by a particular company.

Deliveries

Fees

Delivery is free if your desired products are available in our general catalog or online, and the order is greater than $50.

AVE will happily order custom and request-only items not found in our database or catalogs. Some manufacturers charge freight when shipping special-orders. The customer is responsible for freight charges.

Custom printing and ad specialty manufacturers may also charge freight when shipping their orders. The customer is responsible for those charges as well.

Delivery details

Most orders will be delivered by an AVE Sales Assistant. Our Sales Assistants aren’t your average drivers. They are professional, courteous representatives of our company who deliver your order where you need it, when you need it. They will answer questions and take new orders, as needed. Larger orders (furniture) and special orders may be delivered by outside companies.

Orders outside our delivery area will be delivered by United Parcel Service or a similar carrier. Special order, print and promotional items may be delivered directly from the manufacturer to save time.

Backorders

In the rare instance an item is backordered, it may be shipped directly to the customer from a wholesaler’s alternate facility to expedite the order. AVE delivers backorders within 24 hours of receipt or has them shipped directly to the customer.

Delivery times

Orders delivered by an AVE Sales Assistant can arrive as soon as the next day, if an order is placed before 5 p.m. Orders delivered by United Parcel Service or a similar package carrier must be placed before 2 p.m. to assure next-day delivery.

AVE does our best to accommodate urgent order requests. Exceptions include furniture, custom orders and backordered items.

Larger orders such as furniture and multiple cartons of paper, which are often delivered by an outside freight company, can take as long as 5 business days for delivery. Helpful Hint: Place large paper orders and furniture on separate orders from ordinary supply items so your smaller items will arrive quickly.

Payments

All invoices are due in full within 30 days of invoice date. Customers may pay by check, electronically (EFT or ACH) or by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Returns

Customers have 3 days from date of purchase to report shortages, incorrect shipments, damage, and defective products. Call 248-213-2080 or 800-296-5446 to make the report.

You may return any supply item in its original manufacturer’s packaging. AVE does not charge restocking fees if an item is returned within 15 days from date of purchase and the product is in resalable condition. Call 248-213-2080 or 800-296-5446 to receive a Return Authorization.

AVE accepts returns of unassembled and manufacturer-assembled furniture, accompanied by the original manufacturer packaging. Most manufacturers attempt to repair any defects before replacing or accepting furniture for return.

Food, beverages, special orders, and custom orders are not subject to return unless there is an error by AVE or a manufacturer defect.
